For those who might be interested, there is a new source of information for students.

According to their website, the Student Free Press Association (SFPA):

“… is an individual membership organization of college-aged writers, bloggers, tweeters, podcasters, and viral video makers.

This website aspires to become an excellent source of higher-education news. It will showcase outstanding work by both students and professional journalists, with the goal of providing valuable information to readers as well as helping students connect with a national audience.”

While U.S. based, there will likely be stories of relevance to students from around the globe.

And, if you are in journalism, there may be the opportunity to submit articles for publication.

It is nice to see these type of endeavours taking place on the internet.

I hope that the SFPA is successful and wish them well.
